The RC-100 is ASV's flagship Rubber Track Loader. It was designed from the
ground up to take full advantage of its suspended rubber track undercarriage without compromises. It is the most powerful and productive of the
ASV R-Series product line.
High Power, High Torque Powertrain
The RC-100 is powered by the Perkins 1104C-44T turbocharged
diesel engine. It is a 4.4 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that
offers high output with low emissions and low sound. In fact, with
304 ft-lb of torque, ASV's
RC-100 has more available torque than any other rubber tracked loader.
The Posi-Power Control™ (PPC™) system is an integral part of the RC-100's
powertrain. PPC™ is a power management system that lets you work
the RC-100 to its fullest potential as it automatically shifts the
hydrostat to match available engine horsepower. With the PPC
system, it is virtually impossible to stall the engine.
Advanced Hydraulic System
The RC-100 features the most advanced hydraulic system available in
its class. The tracks are directly driven by two-speed drive motors with
travel speeds up to 11.5 mph. The hydraulic system provides up to 38
gpm to the standard high flow auxiliary circuit on demand or 20 gpm to
the low flow circuit. The RC-100's advanced load-sensing hydraulic
system is highly efficient, producing 10 percent more hydraulic
horsepower — horsepower that is simply lost on less efficient systems.
As a result, you get more done and you get it done faster.
Advanced Rubber Track Undercarriage
The RC-100 is the only machine in its class designed from the ground up to
run on a suspended rubber track undercarriage. That means there
are no compromises when it comes to machine width, ground clearance and
machine balance. It also means you get maximum traction and a
smoother ride.
Forty-two wheeled contact points spread the machine weight over
18-inch-wide rubber tracks, exerting only 3.5 psi ground pressure.
With the RC-100 you can crawl over the most fragile ground with minimal
surface disturbance. You can also work productively in virtually
any ground condition. As with all ASV equipment, there is no steel
inside the rubber tracks so operation is smooth, quiet and with much
less friction.
Torsion axle suspension of the undercarriage helps maximize contact
with the ground for better traction and a much smoother ride than
rigid-mounted track systems. It is better for the operator, better
for load-retention and easier on the machine.
Easy, Comfortable Operation
The RC-100's operator station has more features and built-in comfort
than ever before. New joystick controls feature integrated
hydraulic and electric attachment controls for precise, low-effort
operation. A new
hydraulically-operated quick attach is standard
so
you can connect to many non-powered tools without leaving the operator
seat.
Tilt-up Service Access
A new tilt-up ROPS/FOPS canopy makes access to the hydraulic system
quick and easy. Service to the engine and cooling package is
through a tilt-up rear hood.
