The new ASV RC-60 is a mid-sized Rubber Track Loader
that combines power, performance and an outstanding list
of leading-edge features. Topping the list is ASV's award-winning
RTSS II rubber track undercarriage technology with suspension.
This advanced system gives you maximum traction and stability
for working more productively in a wider range of conditions.
Turbocharged Performance
The RC-60 offers more performance
and versatility than any other loader in its size class.
It features a 60 hp (44.7 kW), 2.2 liter, 4-cylinder Perkins
404C-22T that’s turbocharged for rock-solid performance even
at higher altitudes, making it the ideal solution for tackling
demanding jobs in virtually every environment.
Posi-Power Control (PPC)
The RC-60’s hydrostatic
drive system includes ASV’s Posi-Power Control (PPC).
The hydrostat automatically adjusts to match available
engine horsepower. As a result, it’s easier for the experienced
operator to run the RC-60 at its peak potential. For the
newer operator, it means better productivity with reduced
chance of engine stalls.
The RC-60 is designed to lift and place large loads
with a rated operating capacity of 1,900 lbs.* Loader arms
feature a new efficient, robust design similar to ASV's larger Rubber Track Loaders. The RC-60 also comes standard with selectable self leveling.
A broad selection of performance-matched Posi-Tool attachments for
the RC-60 assure maximum versatility and productivity in all applications.
Exceptional Traction
Twenty-four rubber wheels spread
machine weight evenly over 15-inch wide rubber tracks.
It offers exceptional traction and stability for working productively
in ground conditions that prevent other machines from working
at all. In good ground conditions, the RC-60 works even
better.
Smooth, Quiet & Efficient Operation
No steel inside the tracks
means the RC-60 is smooth, quiet and very efficient. The
machine’s internal positive drive system uses hydrostatically-driven
sprockets with free-turning rollers to engage drive lugs
inside the track. This minimizes friction between drive
components and the track. As a result, travel and work speeds
are much higher than systems that use steel sprockets and
rubber-bonded steel tracks. Tracks and drive components last longer,
too. ASV tracks come with an exclusive 1,000 hour warranty
Torsion
axle suspension of the undercarriage is another ASV exclusive. Suspension
helps maximize contact with the ground for better traction and stability.
It also gives a much smoother ride for the operator, improves load-retention
and is easier on the machine.
Easy, Comfortable Operator Control
The RC-60 operator station is designed for comfort and control. No foot
controls mean plenty of leg room and less operator fatigue. For work
in tight and confined areas, the RC-60 offers excellent all-around visibility.
Ergonomic controls include pilot-operated implement and propel levers.
A full spectrum of gauges and switches are conveniently located in the
heads-up position for easy view and reach. Safety-related features include
full ROPS/FOPS canopy, lap bar, comfortable seat belt and brake. An enclosed
cab is also available with sound insulation.
